Warm sunny day with a brisk NW wind - straight down the strip. Nice looking cumulus. No gliding activity, but I did a few circuits in the tug as I need to practice in stronger winds.
Had a visit from a keen potential student, Craig, from Kootingle and his wife Sally. He wants to have a few lessons and then possibly participate in Gerhard's winch course in July to perfect his landings. Has been for a TIF with Vic at some stage and has read Basic Gliding Knowledge cover to cover, and has now sat in all our club gliders - I think he's hooked! Please make them feel welcome if you see them out at the club - as everyone always does.
